New colors

I read some critics about the colors... the only reason I choosed the previous colors was because red and black are the colors of our guild

the desing is cool hyo but the colors r to brightm cant read well xD

Red and black are amazing colors together, Luis, especially excellent choices since they are the guild's colors. That was genius! I meant only -- and I guess that I did not make it clear at all when I first made that suggestion in early December -- that the site visually was much too dark and gloomy with primarily all black on every page. Is there some way that white can be used along with an artistically creative blend of black and red? Lots of black and red! The only issues that I had with the overabundance of blackness were the difficulty in locating and reading items quickly, diminishing the ability to navigate thru the site quickly and easily, and the general feel of the web pages with so much black and very little, if any, contrasting light coloring at the other end of the spectrum to break up the deepness of the red and black. As with food presentation, product packaging and almost anything, the first determinant and often the most important is visual appeal. But, then again, could just be me over-analyzing things. Just my opinion. And I voted "no" on the new colors due to the total lack of color, except for gray, which I find totally yucky (a very technical term, I know, but yucky describes my sentiments exactly when I see any shade of gray ... lol).

hyo i recommend to try other styles first before finally selecting one because if i remember right there are lots of other styles to choose from ^_^

take your time kk hyo remember you stated that this is only the beta version
try other styles and ask us when u log on in maple to see ^_^

or look at mashi's suggestions look at other sites and compare ^_^

ya i think if you cut down on coffee the evil inside you will slowly decrease just like Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde

U r right, Brent. Red and black r cool combo, especially since they r the guild colors. But the original style that was all black and red made it really really hard to read things. I was kinda hoping we cld come up with some kind of color scheme, using the red and black but using a lighter, more neutral color (and NO! not gray, Valentina, cuz gray is depressing, LOL) that wouldn't clash with the red & black for posts, thread titles and links at the top of the screen (Home, FAQ, etc.) so that they cld be easily read. Wld not only make it simpler to navigate the sight but would be very attractive ... like me ... f3. Muahahahahaaaaaaaa!
